a big fuck you goes out to KSC Student Finalatial Services

I can't believe the bullshit I had to wade through this afternoon to get SFS to admit that they omnipotent computer was fucked up. They claimed that I had not submitted a FAFSA to them, when in fact I had done that on 1/26/05. Hmm... So then it was that there was a problem with the information I entered, and not there wasn't. Well then it had to be some error with the processing and I had to call the FAFSA people up and have them sort things out. Because basically there was no way on earth it could EVER be the college at fault (a dubious claim considering they weren't able to look up my information for the past 2 days since it wasn't "working at all right now"). So I called fafsa, and they confirmed what i already knew, the fafsa was submitted, completed, with out error and totally ready for ksc to download. They suggested that I get sfs to call them directly, and when I explained that to SFS, they very heatedly told me that there was no way they were going to call them, and that I had to produce some "DRN number" in order for them to verify my fafsa. Back on the phone the fafsa folks directed me to my number, and so i called the sfs idiots back. And guess what?! just guess.... that's right, they're fucking computer system didn't get my information and they had no idea why, how strange. I did this shit for like and hour and a half, wtf is so hard about admitting your faults, unless you already knew it and were too fucking afraid to reveal them?
