holiday crazyness
Wow, it's here again already. And with it comes the usual insanity that is my extended family. The all invaded our house last night to bring gifts and to talk about how amazing their lives are (which they really aren't). I won't go into great detail but the best part of my family is their incredible ability for self-deception and self-importance. It's all very self centered, it's amazing they managed to remember to buy gifts for other people (though it's probably just because it makes themselves feel good). I'm glad to say I didn't get very much this year, every year it's getting less and less, if the trend continues within a few years I might be lucky enough to get nothing at all! Honestly, I don't need more things, and at least half of the things I do have I wish I didn't. Although I've got to admit I was a little stoked to get my own yahtzee game, that way Sandy and I will have something to play once we get an apartment.
I'm glad to only have one semester left at KSC, higher education is great and everything, but racking up debt isn't. I hope I can find something that soon after school to get back to making a little income. I don't have any super incredible goals, just get a place with Sandy and pay off my loans. That should be feasible. Well I've got to help my parents prepare some food now, so I'll leave you all with this comic that kind of cracked me up.
