Damn non soft pavement

So I went on a nice bike ride yesterday up to bever brook falls. It was very seanic and such, virtually no bugs and no people around. The day was sunny and the weather was pleasantly cool. I couldn't of had a better time, that was untill I rode down to the bottom of the hill on my way back. I road my bike under the chain at the gate like I've done a million times before, but this time I got smacked in th face with some thorny ass bush. So I ended up wiping out big time. I skidded to a halt on my left arm after about 5 feet or so, my huge keychain got smooshed into my left leg and gave me a wicked bruise. So I'm missing about a 2" x 5" section of my skin on my arm, and as you might guess, it hurts like all hell. It's amazing I don't just give up on riding my bike all together, hehe
