long ass day

You know what sucks? 12 hour work days. That's what I did today, well sort of. There was a fair amount of zombie like stares at the monitor while I zoned out reading about mircosoft outlook exchange servers, and help request forms.  But basically I worked from 10am - 10 pm today. It sucked a whole lot of ass, but the best part is I get to do it tomorrow too. You know I'm excited. This weekend is going to be a bit on the insane side with the Burlington show, followed by getting Sandy over to UNH, but I'll manage somehow. Blah.. bed time

two practices in two days

Perpetual Winter is getting ready for our next show up in Berlington VT on June 3rd. Unfortunately this also happens to be the day that Sandy is coming back from NY. I would really rather spend the whole day with her, but of course our singer books a show without telling anyone else. I guess the other guys don't care because they don't have quite as much going on in their lives. But I'm working for the school in the cs lab, and for hte IT group, as well as at general tours and st. joes. So that doesn't leave me with a ton of free time.  I'm glad that Sandy was willing to come with me to the show, it has been a long time since we've had one, and Berlington is a pretty cool town.

fucking fuckers of fuck!

So my breaks have been in a pretty bad state for a while, I knew that. They have been squeeking and what not, especially when I'm backing out of the drive way at my house. Well I finally got up the urge to call up the Kia place and have them take a looksy at it. No problem they said, bring it in at 2 this afternoon, it should only take about half an hour. So I did, and wouldn't you know it, there was 4 open recalls on it that they HAD to take care of. Like a potential fire hazzard with the fule pump, and the seat belts not working. Ok do those two I said. Well when they finally get around to looking at the breaks they saw that they were completly falling appart, like rust-o-rama. So what do I need? "it's basically like doing a full rear break job" is what I'm told. It sounds more like me paying out the ass job, to the tune of $625!!!

It's not been a good day, I don't see it getting any better tomorrow either >:(

finals time

I've been studying hard core for my finals tis week. I've got 2 today and 1 tomorrow then I'll be done! I hope I don't blow it, because I'm sue these will make or break my grades for these classes. It's been a pretty busy semester over all, and it looks like the summer is going to be the same. Oh well, it'll be good to make some money for once, even though I'll still be in the lab like 30 hours a week.
